How the fuck did I end up hosting my radio show, do bits for MUTV and become a semi regular contributor on Fulltimedevils?
This story starts on the 19th March 2018 when I received a message on Skype from an account called Premier League Fanzone asking me what team I supported. The only reason I saw this was because I had the day off school because of the snow. Now you might think this has DHOYTA written all over it but this is genuinely what happened. Anyway, to cut a long story short I ended up on TV in 70 countries two hours later across Asia and Africa. I’ve gone into more detail about this for the article I did for Fourfourtwo which you can find by searching something like ‘James African TV’ into google. The point of this though isn’t: ‘how I got lucky by having everything falling into place for me’. But rather that without applying yourself and putting any hard work in, you won’t get anywhere if you want to succeed in this industry.
